Lol. Yeehaw, my state.
But this all started because a judge told our university they couldn't charge extra for students who couldn't finish their degrees on time. That students who were undocumented were paying less than students who were taking too long to graduate. And it's about his little border wall.
Abbott's a grade-A jackass who wants to drum up his constituents because he's getting challenged this election cycle (and it's possible he might lose).

Is it fair to blame Texas voters? Yep. But in only in part; we have pretty bad jerrymandering and voter suppression around here. The positive is more people are coming to Texas for the jobs, and some of them are from typical blue states. So we'll see. If Abbott gets defeated (big if) and Beto wins, we'll have some decent changes. And maybe, just maybe, people won't freeze to death in winter, due to rolling blackouts.
