Off all the problems facing the world, the need to transition away from fossil fuels is, in my opinion, the most crucial. Personally I am in favor of a what is being called, The Hydrogen Economyany thoughts on the matter? Of course feel free to obfuscate with links showing that global warming is not a thing.

this bill that was just signed into law is a BFD, clearly the only political party in the US that is willing to do anything positive about the country and the world is the Dems. Anyone who can vote in November in the US and does not is out of their mind.

I've been interested in Hydrogen as a fuel source for many years. I found an article talking about a natural source in the ground in Mali providing Hydrogen to power electricity and provide it to the village. I was happily reading along until I saw this. I thought they were further along in the ability to adapt to hydrogen usage. Apparently there's still much to be done to make it mainstream to the masses. Bummer. "Green hydrogen is produced from renewable energy sources, usually solar, wind or hydro power. West Africa is an ideal place for green hydrogen production, noting high sun exposure and wind potential as well as proximity to European markets, leading to competitive advantage and durable economic development perspectives for the region. While green hydrogen in itself is a carbon-free fuel that has gained a lot of interest, it still requires a large amount of electricity to be produced. Natural hydrogen on the other hand, does not." qrius.com/hydroma-leading-the-world-in-natural-hydrogen-energy/

As long as China and India keep pumping massive amounts of toxic waste into the air I don’t really think it will matter what the US does. It’s kinda like having a no peeing section at the public pool.
That said, I’m a huge fan of nuclear fusion, unfortunately misconceptions based on early fission accidents have colored the publics perception of nuclear in general.

I’m not an expert on it or anything, but I also read a book recently about no-till farming’s potential to offset absolutely huge amounts of air pollution by capturing carbon in the soil. Was pretty interesting.

the US is contributing 14% of the world"s CO2, but that does not include the CO2 that other countries produce when making goods or extracting raw materials that is used in the US economy. the argument that we won't change the situation by producing less co2 because the rest of the world is not going to change is a strong one and resonates well with a great deal of people. in answer i say ...." Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?"
