perhaps Agent Smith would be a more fitting default Icon, regardless of declared gender ID

Note that if you'd actually like to run a formal petition on this, this is the mechanism:
1.2. Petition Mechanism 1.2.A. Forum members reserve the right to petition for changes to The Forum or to The Forum Code. 1.2.B. Petitions are heard by posting a thread on the subject in the appropriate section of ‘The Town Hall’, currently ‘The Town Hall’ > ‘Petitions’. 1.2.C. Petition threads should be regarded according to common sense; they should not be declared invalid through technicality. 1.2.D. A poll should be added to a petition thread on the question of the petition. This poll should have both an ‘agree’ and ‘disagree’ option. 1.2.E. An Owner or Moderator will then state the required number of ‘agree’ signatories for the petition to be considered ‘successful’. This is determined by the following means: 1.2.E.1. Technical: The Owner or Moderator will consult the Members list using the ‘View Online Today’ function. 1.2.E.2. The number of members in this list is then counted to produce a number. 1.2.E.3. The number of Owners and Moderators is then subtracted from this number. 1.2.E.4. The resulting number is considered the ‘Day’s Community Population’. 1.2.E.5. A petition is ‘successful’ if it accrues more than half of the ‘Day’s Community Population’ as stated in the thread by an Owner or Moderator upon it’s creation. 1.2.E.6. The ‘disagree’ votes are subtracted from the ‘agree’ votes in this calculation. 1.2.F. If the petition is successful, the Owners and/or Moderators shall intervene in the petition thread to discuss how the idea might be implemented. 1.2.G. There shall be a presumption that successful petitions shall be implemented if there is no technical constraint, though the Owners shall reserve final judgement. 1.2.H. Informal Petitions: Petitions without a poll mechanism may be heard and discussed in the appropriate ‘Petitions’ section. 1.2.H.1. Good ideas shall have the presumption of implementation. 1.2.H.2. At least one representative of Staff (Moderators and Owners) shall be obliged to read a petition thread. 1.2.I. Members shall not be penalised for petitioning.
The current 'Day's Community Population' is 10 (12, with 2 Owners), so you'd have to accrue 5 petition votes for it to pass.
